Lyndsay Mountford joined the SMF in February 2008 as Head of Health. Most of her career has been in the UK Government Economic Service, initially in international development and subsequently as a health economist with HM Treasury and the Department of Health. She also lived in Luxembourg for a number of years where she worked with several european institutions and health groups on various aspects of EU health policy. She read Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University and has an MSc in the Economics of Public Policy from University College, London.
