David joined the SMF as Health Project Leader in January 2007. Prior to this he worked in Public Affairs for Standard Life Healthcare, one of the UK’s leading private health providers. During this time he developed expertise in NHS reform and the politics of healthcare, examining the long term future of the UK health system. He also worked with business and government partners on workplace health policy and led a project on the emerging market in healthcare commissioning.
David was educated at Keble College, Oxford.
